Join our team as a Material Handler in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and contribute to the seamless flow of goods within our logistics center. We are seeking strong, reliable individuals to manage the movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse. As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include loading and unloading shipments, transporting items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and efficiently. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly. Safety is our top priority; you will be trained on and must strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience operating material handling equipment is highly desirable, and relevant certifications are a plus. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse
- Stack, store, and organize inventory items
- Conduct routine checks on material handling equipment for safety and maintenance
- Assist with inventory control and record-keeping
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times
