*Job Overview*
We are hiring a Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our outpatient pediatric occupational therapy clinic. This clinic-based OT position is ideal for a therapist passionate about play-based therapy, DIR®/Floortime, and family-centered care. You will work with children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, regulation differences, and neurodivergent profiles in a supportive, collaborative clinic environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Provide pediatric occupational therapy services in an outpatient clinic setting
- Use child-led, play-based, and relationship-based therapy approaches
- Incorporate DIR®/Floortime, sensory integration, and regulation-based strategies
- Provide parent coaching and caregiver education
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (POCs)
- Complete timely documentation (SOAP notes, progress notes, re-evals)
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members
*Qualifications*
*Required:*
- Current Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in VA
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric occupational therapy
- Knowledge of sensory processing, regulation, and developmental play
- Strong communication and organizational skills
*Preferred:*
- DIR®/Floortime training or certification (or willingness to pursue)
- Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodivergent children
- Experience in an outpatient pediatric clinic
- Background in family-centered therapy or parent coaching

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
