*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Quality Program Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives across enterprise software projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for management of assigned projects, whether contract-based projects or collaborative projects involving member company volunteers throughout the automotive supply chain.
The PM is also responsible for product management of assigned publications and training courses, development of the annual quality budget, management of survey process, leadership of the annual Quality Summit event planning, and other projects as they evolve.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
_*Project Management:*_
* Lead volunteer initiative strategy and planning
* Own end-to-end project delivery - ensure successful start-up, execution and completion of project, managing timelines, milestones, and risks.
* Develop business cases - defining objectives, benefits, resources and govenrance to launch new initiatives.
* Recruit and manage volunteer resources - engage volunteers while maintaining strong, productive relationships.
* Apply AIAG project management methodology - lead projects using standard tools and processes; oversee schedules, phases, and delivery quality.
* Enforce Anti-trust and Copyright policies; manage agendas, announcements, minutes, and releases; educate volunteers on AIAG policies.
* Ensure product marketing and sales plans are developed and executed for project deliverables.
* Ensure project teams and oversight committees reflect AIAG membership and have required subject-matter expertise (staff, volunteers, consultants).
* Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting by developing strategic plans and manage business plan budgets and forecasts for the Quality Products & Services department.
* Represent AIAG externally and build and maintain relationships with regional/international standards bodies, sister organizations, and media.
* Manage contracted initiatives and RFPs - oversee projects under contracts/MOUs and lead the RFP process for assigned projects.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Prior project management experience required.
* Automotive Industry experience and/or knowledge.
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
* Four (4) or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to work with employees at all levels, customers, and vendors.
