*Licensed Practical Nurse*
*Status: Full-time *
*Duties:*
* Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
* Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physician
* Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
* Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

*Qualifications:*
* Nebraska (or compact state) LPN license is required
* Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (Preferred)
* Ability to learn and implement administrative and departmental policies and procedures and carry out job responsibilities in a professional, accurate and conscientious manner
* Ability to create and maintain a helpful, understanding and empathetic atmosphere toward the residents and staff
* Ability to handle confidential information exercise independent judgment and make decisions based on good nursing practice guidelines
* Ability to maintain a positive, stable disposition in performing work in association with staff, residents and families
