Seeking a 3rd Shift Material Handler

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in inventory control and cycle counting
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure efficient operations

• Wrap skids

• Empty gaylords

• Work overtime as needed

• All other job duties assigned by management without hesitation

Skills:
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts including clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, reach trucks, etc.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and fellow workers
- Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment

Note: Prior experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role is preferred. Training may be provided for candidates with transferable skills.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
