Job Overview
Pay is $14 plus tips that add about $8-$10 per hour. We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as necessary.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and kitchen support.
• Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas promptly.
• Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Restocking plates, glasses, utensils during service.
• All other duties assigned by manager

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A passion for hospitality and culinary arts is highly valued.
