Southwestern Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is excited to welcome a dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to our in-house therapy team If you're passionate about helping others and want to work in a supportive, collaborative environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:As a PTA at Southwestern, you'll play a key role in helping our residents achieve their highest functional potential. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will:
- Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions as prescribed by the physician
- Assist in developing and modifying individualized treatment plans
- Measure and document residents' motor function, strength, and mobility
- Monitor residents' responses during treatment sessions and make real-time adjustments as needed
- Observe and report progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation

- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current licensure as a PTA in the state of PA
- Experience in long-term care or post-acute rehab setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
