Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and drivers to deliver goods to customers across designated routes
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
• Ensure timely delivery by planning efficient routes and maintaining accurate delivery schedules
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Assist in warehouse organization, including inventory management, stock rotation, and order picking
• Support in moving heavy items within the warehouse using appropriate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience with a proven track record of route driving and customer interaction
• Warehouse experience involving loading/unloading, inventory management, or equipment operation
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred
• Familiarity with heavy lifting, moving items safely, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks (certification is a plus)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse settings
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, warehouse work, and equipment operation
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and moving items efficiently while maintaining safety standards
