A candidate with strong experience in mechanical construction project management will be strongly considered and prioritized for interview. This is a Project Management position based in Georgetown, TX, focused on supporting key clients in that region. Candidates must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight while managing full project lifecycle responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-construction planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
  • Review and approve project budgets for labor, materials, and subcontractors to ensure proper resource allocation and cost control.
  • Negotiate and issue subcontract agreements with vendors and trade partners.
  • Oversee project financials, including profitability, cost-to-complete tracking, and cash flow management.
  • Lead project documentation processes such as submittals, RFIs, change orders, and monthly cost reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and owners to resolve design and coordination challenges across trades.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, logistics plans, and procurement timelines.
  • Approve vendor and subcontractor invoices in alignment with project budgets.
  • Enforce all safety standards and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite environment.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, pursuing repeat and future project opportunities.
  • Manage CAD, fabrication, and field labor resources in alignment with project needs.

Supervisory & Communication Responsibilities

  • Directly manage subcontractors and project engineers / assistant project managers.
  • Indirect oversight of field personnel and internal support teams.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly dependable and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and general Office applications.
  • Experience with AutoBid, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam preferred.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, construction sequencing, and project management principles.
  • Ability to lead estimating or procurement efforts when necessary and train junior team members.
  • Analytical mindset — capable of conducting SWOT analyses for ongoing and future projects.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 10+ years of mechanical construction experience, including at least 5 years managing projects up to $15 million in scope.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $180,000.00 per year
