Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for innovative food presentation. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in menu development, inventory control, and maintaining a vibrant culinary environment that aligns with our brand's commitment to excellence in fine dining and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to ensure consistency and creativity in all offerings.
  • Supervise food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and client specifications.
  • Oversee kitchen shift management, scheduling staff shifts efficiently to meet operational demands.
  • Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, productivity, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and procurement strategies.
  • Provide training and mentorship to culinary staff to develop their skills and ensure professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fine dining, banquet, or catering environments with strong leadership skills in supervising teams.
  • Extensive culinary experience including food production, menu planning, food safety, and kitchen management.
  • Background in restaurant management, food service management, or related hospitality roles.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability in food presentation, cooking techniques, and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in shift management and operational oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Experience in dietary department procedures is a plus; knowledge of hospitality industry standards is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46, $50,000.00 per year
