Talk of the Town (TOTT Events) is a 32-year-old event rental and production company providing inflatables, games, casino equipment, LED displays, and event support for private, corporate, school, and community events. We are expanding our warehouse operations in Westminster, Maryland and are urgently hiring Warehouse Associates / Event Crew Members to support upcoming events.

This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse logistics with on-site event support. No two days are the same, and reliability, attention to detail, and communication matters.

The Role:

This is a dual-function position covering both warehouse operations and event crew support, depending on scheduling needs.

Warehouse Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks using packing lists to ensure the correct equipment is sent to each event
  • Stage, organize, and return equipment in the warehouse, occasionally using forklifts.
  • Assist with inventory checks and basic equipment inspections
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse
  • Perform repetitive lifting of equipment (up to 100 lbs) using proper techniques

Event Crew Responsibilities

  • Assist with delivery, setup, operation, and teardown of event equipment
  • Support lead technicians and drivers on-site
  • Ensure equipment is used properly and safely during events
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or venues
  • Travel to event sites across MD, DC, VA, and PA as scheduled

Anyone with box truck experience and a DOT Medical Certificate is strongly encouraged to apply, though driving is not required for all shifts. What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work in a warehouse and event environment
  • Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly
  • Comfortable using email and a cell phone for scheduling (through Sling) and communication
  • Team-oriented, but capable of working independently

Previous experience in warehouse work, logistics, moving, production, staging, or event setup is helpful but not required. We train dependable people.

Schedule & Pay

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Schedule: Flexible, event-based
  • Shifts may include:
  • Early mornings
  • Day shifts
  • Evenings / nights
  • Weekends and peak event dates
  • Pay: Competitive and based on experience, $18-22/hr with opportunities to increase your pay

Training

  • On-the-job training provided by experienced staff
  • Training occurs before, during, and after events
  • Emphasis on safety, proper handling, and consistency
