Industrial Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tifton. If you enjoy solving problems, working with machinery, and being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly, this could be the perfect fit for you. This position also offers a hiring bonus.

What you'll be doing:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment
• Performing emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance
• Reading manuals and work orders to complete tasks accurately
• Diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and testing equipment
• Supporting safety investigations and continuous improvement efforts
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Assisting with capital project execution and equipment commissioning
• Reporting any unusual conditions or defective materials
• Following daily and weekly work order schedules
• Helping train new technicians and supporting team collaboration

What we're looking for:

• Diploma, degree, or license in industrial maintenance
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production
• Familiarity with safety standards like NFPA 70E, Arc Flash, and Lockout/Tagout
• Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Physical requirements:

• Able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Able to lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet
• Able to climb, bend, stoop, and wear required PPE
• Forklift certifiable
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Available for on-call support outside of regular hours
