Classic Motoring is a specialty vintage and classic automotive restoration and service shop specializing in Alfa Romeo and European vehicles. We work on everything from mechanical sorting and maintenance to full restorations and restomod builds. Quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are at the core of what we do.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vintage Auto Technician with hands-on experience working on classic and vintage European vehicles. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, electrically competent, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vintage and classic European vehicles
• Perform mechanical repairs including engines, drivetrains, suspension, brakes, and steering
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (wiring, charging, ignition, lighting, etc.)
• Assist with restoration projects from mechanical refreshes to full builds
• Support tuning, setup, and road-testing as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience working on vintage or classic European cars (Alfa Romeo, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.)
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience with carburetors, ignition systems, and vintage fuel systems preferred
• Tuning and restomod experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
