Job Description:
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
We are looking for a highly skilled Product Development Engineer with extensive experience deploying products, platforms, networks, and solutions. This role requires providing technical oversight for large, complex, cross-functional programs, ensuring cohesive and integrated end-to-end solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical Oversight and Leadership
- Lead and provide technical oversight for end-to-end solutions on large, complex programs involving significant system/software impacts (ranging from ~10 to 50+ systems), device hardware, and network development.
- Oversee data migrations impacting customers, applications, and/or cloud environments.
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, milestones, deliverables, resources, and timelines.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Drive cross-functional alignment and progress with customers, team members, and other stakeholders (vendors, internal applications, internal teams) to ensure delivery reflective of project goals.
- Facilitate vertical alignment through presentations and artifacts for delivery to various levels of leadership, up to and including senior executives.
Program Alignment and Communication
- Drive alignment and understanding of the program across all architecture and delivery teams by comprehending and communicating the customer's business and technical needs.
- Ensure that requirements, architecture, design, and development efforts provide a cohesive and fully integrated end-to-end solution from ideation to operationalization.
Solution Integration and Delivery
- Facilitate the understanding and integration of complex technical solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the deployment process, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in deploying products, platforms, networks, and solutions on large-scale, complex programs.
- Strong technical expertise in wireless networking, back-office system software, hardware, and cloud.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including internal/external clients, vendors, and local MNOs globally.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical and business requirements clearly and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment and collaboration across architecture and delivery teams.
- Ability to oversee the entire lifecycle of a project, from ideation to operationalization, ensuring fully integrated solutions.
Education/Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.
- Experience: Requires 5+ years of experience in a related role. Ability to advise on architecture and development options that support flexibility and re-use.

Our Lead Product Development Engineer earns between $128,400 and $192,600. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
