Certified Pharmacy Technician

Greenwood Drug is looking for a full time certified technician. We have been a family owned pharmacy in the Cedar Valley for over 30 years. We take pride in providing the best customer service and getting to know our patients and customers.

Working Conditions:

Our pharmacy is typically fast paced. Must be able to handle multiple tasks regularly.

At Greenwood Pharmacy, we understand the impact that pharmacy technicians have in the pharmacy. We want our pharmacy technicians to continue to expand roles in the pharmacy and help us push our pharmacy forward.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program and maintains continuing education requirements to keep license active. Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Data Entry
• Filling of Prescriptions
• Stocking Shelves
• Receiving and maintaining inventory
• Promptly answering telephones
• Any other duties as assigned by the pharmacist on staff
• Physical requirements:
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Being able to stand for long hours during working shift.
• Other responsibilities based on qualifications include but are not limited to: vaccination, technician product verification, medication therapy management,

Pay based on qualifications and experience.
