Duties

• Prepare and assemble baked goods, pastries, and other culinary items according to established recipes and standards.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, utilizing cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal.
• Package finished products efficiently for sale or delivery, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Assist in food production processes, including mixing, baking, and food preparation tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food with care to ensure safety and hygiene throughout all stages of production.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection and answering customer inquiries when needed.
• Support catering or special event preparations as required, contributing to team efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts; prior restaurant or catering experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards.
• Skills in food preparation, packaging, and general kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques such as knife skills, baking methods, and food presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
