Weekend Supervisor – Trinity Elms Assisted Living
The weekend Supervisor will be scheduled for 12 hour shifts every weekend. Candidate must be over 21 yrs of age, have a PCA and/or CNA and have passed the Medication Aide for Adult Care Home class and test. Hours are 7a-7p or 7p-7a every weekend.Position Overview
The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations at Trinity Elms Assisted Living during the weekends. This role ensures that residents receive high-quality care and that staff comply with established policies and procedures. Working closely with the Health Care Coordinator and Executive Director, the Weekend Supervisor maintains a safe and supportive environment for both residents and teammates.
Essential Functions- Supervise and support weekend teammates, ensuring all assigned duties are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Safeguard residents' rights and ensure they are treated with respect and dignity.
- Collaborate with the Health Care Coordinator to implement care plans and promptly report any concerns regarding residents' status.
- Participate in staff training sessions, including CPR and first aid certification, as required.
- Ensure that residents' rooms and common areas are clean and safe, and report maintenance or safety issues as necessary.
- Demonstrate LSCs' mission, vision, values, and customer service standards in all interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The Weekend Supervisor oversees weekend teammates, including Personal Care Aides and other support staff, to ensure quality care and efficient operations.
Qualifications- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in healthcare or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in assisted living or healthcare setting.
- Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with adults in varying stages of aging or disability; attention to detail; strong time management skills.
- Specialized Knowledge/Licenses: CPR and first aid certification required; additional healthcare certifications preferred.
- Physical exertion involving pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking, including transporting objects.
- Occasional bending, squatting, or repeated reaching.
- Ability to assist with repositioning and transferring individuals of varying weights, following established safe lifting procedures.
- Ambulatory throughout the facility.
