As a rapidly growing firm, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist attorney(s) with case preparation, including legal research, drafting motions and preparing legal documents (i.e. subpoenas, discovery requests, etc.)
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel
• Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts or other government agencies
• Manage case schedules, including court dates, deadlines and meetings
• Review case documents and coordinate with experts and witnesses as necessary
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and evidence

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (i.e. HIPAA, healthcare fraud)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
