Who We Are

o5 group is an industry leader in global fashion & apparel design with 40+ years of success across wholesale, e-comm, and marketplace. We are privately held, headquartered in NYC with brand offices in CA — a dynamic portfolio of global brands committed to operational excellence in design, product development, production, sourcing, distribution, and logistics.

With category expertise across full-collection menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, and infant/toddler, we specialize in denim, outerwear, activewear, and loungewear/sleepwear, trusted by top retail partners.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development Associate to join our fast-paced NYC team. You'll be the bridge between design, vendors, and production—keeping our product pipeline on track from concept through final hand-off. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, cross-functional teamwork, vendor communication, and product lifecycle management, and who is looking to build a long-term career in apparel.

How You'll Contribute

• Coordinate with Design and Production to manage comments and approvals from development through final production.

• Communicate daily with factories, vendors, and suppliers to track progress and resolve issues.

• Oversee sample tracking and submissions, including fabric and trim approvals, proto samples, salesman samples, PP samples, and TOP samples.

• Maintain detailed and organized records of approvals, comments, and status updates, both electronic and physical.

• Support revisions, adds, and drops to ensure timely execution and clean hand-offs to Production.

• Assist in maintaining PLM systems and Excel tracking reports.

What You Bring to the Team

• 3–5 years of experience in product development, apparel production, or licensed apparel business.

• Working knowledge of PLM systems and strong Excel skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent time management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• A collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment.
