SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing critical data analysis, reporting, and operational support to drive sales effectiveness across Inovonics' commercial security business. This role focuses on maintaining accurate sales forecasts, analyzing pipeline health, calculating compensation, and delivering actionable insights to sales leadership. Working within our two-tier distribution model, the analyst will support both direct sales efforts and channel partner operations. The ideal candidate will excel at data manipulation in Excel, translating complex data into meaningful insights, and maintaining consistent reporting cadences that inform strategic decisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own and deliver the monthly Mechanical Sales Forecast, analyzing historical trends, pipeline data, and market conditions to provide accurate revenue predictions.
2. Produce weekly and monthly Sales Out Analysis reports, tracking product movement through distribution channels and identifying trends in customer purchasing patterns.
3. Generate weekly Funnel Reporting to monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales velocity across all stages of the sales process.
4. Compile monthly Lead and Marketing Reporting, measuring campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and conversion metrics to optimize marketing investments.
5. Calculate monthly Sales Compensation for the entire sales organization, ensuring accurate commission calculations based on complex plan structures and accelerators.
