Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our brand new TownePlace & SpringHill Suites in Locust Grove. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests or residents, contributing to overall satisfaction and operational excellence.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests or residents
• Follow established protocols for cleaning in hospitality settings or industrial environments to meet safety and quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service skills
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure timely repairs
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles is preferred
• Hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations and service standards
• Experience with floor care techniques and industrial cleaning processes is a plus
• Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be advantageous for leadership opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
