Overview
The
Pharmacy Technology Client Liaison
is an IT professional with hands-on experience as a computer support technician and a clear understanding of the pharmacy process. This role involves communicating appropriately and timely in the delivery of services detailed in various Scopes of Work.

Security Clearance required per site/correctional facility requirements.
Position Location
This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside in the Sacramento, CA area. Occasional on-site support may be required to assist with pharmacy technology systems, troubleshoot equipment, or collaborate directly with on-site staff.

Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners and clients.
- Monitor and report upon Service Level Agreements
- Coordinate and collaborate with system upgrades and other implementations.
- Create project plan for system changes.
- Assist in management and escalation for Help Desk requests.
- Troubleshoot system issues.
- Assist with maintenance of servers and printers.
- Training for new users and changes to systems
- Document system changes and create such training materials as are necessary.
- Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
- Comply with Maxor's Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor's Compliance Program.
- Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
- Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree in information technology or related field.
- Equivalent experience in an outpatient or retail pharmacy setting may be substituted for Associates degree. Certified Pharmacy Technician certification required.
Experience:
- Specialized experience that includes working knowledge of pharmacy (retail, Skilled Nursing and/or acute care) with front end and backend fulfillment processes.
- 1-2 years' experience in project management, a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of Software Maintenance Process and testing capabilities
- Experience in creating training and workflow documentation
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to triage hardware and software issues and escalate with recommendations for timely solutions.
- Understanding of and experience with application development and implementation.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records and system integration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and organizational skills
- Experience in conducting end user training sessions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and SQL
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with a wide spectrum of health care, information technology and administrative team members.
- Ability to rapidly modify or shift priorities to meet client/patient needs as required.
- Familiarity with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) processes and healthcare interface standards such as HL7, NCPDP D.0, and ASAP 4.2B is desirable
