Responsibilities:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the daily operations, resident experience, financial performance, and team leadership across Abington House and One Hudson Yards, two of Related's flagship luxury rental communities. This highly visible and hands-on leader ensures an exceptional living experience aligned with Related's brand standards while driving operational excellence, compliance, and team development.

The AGM works closely with the General Manager, onsite service teams, and corporate partners to maintain first-class operations across both properties within the Hudson Yards portfolio.

As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with oversight of day-to-day building operations, including front-of-house services, amenity spaces, housekeeping/maintenance coordination, and adherence to Related's luxury service standards.
  • Establishing and refining best practices and systems for office operations, ensuring efficient administrative workflows, consistent policy adherence, and standardized procedures across both properties.
  • Engaging and managing third-party vendors and suppliers for janitorial, maintenance, concierge, and specialty services; monitoring performance, service levels, and contract compliance.
  • Supporting all aspects of resident move-ins and onboarding, including unit inspections, welcome communication, etc.
  • Ensuring timely, efficient, and courteous responses to all resident requests, inquiries, complaints, and service issues, including documentation, escalation management, and follow-through to resolution.
  • Assisting in the development, planning, and execution of resident-relations activities and building events, partnering with internal teams to promote a vibrant, hospitality-driven residential community.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and processing all required written communications, including memos, resident notices, formal correspondence, incident/insurance reports, move-in/out documentation, and policy updates.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant administrative files, such as resident files, vendor documentation, operational procedure binders, audit materials, inspection logs, and work-order records.
  • Collecting, posting, and reconciling resident rent payments; monitoring accounts receivable, identifying delinquencies, and coordinating with accounting to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting.
