Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Site Development Civil Engineer with 3 to 10 years of experience to support planning, design, and delivery of site and infrastructure packages. This role focuses on grading, utilities, drainage, roadway interfaces, and early engineering that supports entitlement, environmental, and construction phases.

What You Will Do

• Develop site plans, grading layouts, and earthwork balancing.
• Lead design of water, sewer, stormwater, power, and telecom systems.
• Prepare hydrology models, detention sizing, culverts, and stormwater quality solutions.
• Coordinate with utility owners on relocation strategies and service connections.
• Support permitting with city, county, state, and federal agencies.
• Produce plan sets, technical reports, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Work with CAD and BIM staff to deliver high quality design packages.
• Provide support during procurement and construction including RFIs, submittals, and field reviews.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar discipline.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain in a reasonable timeframe.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in site development, grading, utilities, and drainage design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and hydrology, stormwater, and utility design tools.
• Ability to manage tasks in a multidisciplinary environment and work directly with authorities, utilities, and other stakeholders.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with large scale industrial, energy, logistics, aviation, or campus projects.
• Familiarity with utility relocations, phased construction, and early works packages.
• Experience with federal facilities or complex regulatory environments.
