Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, cleaning, and basic food preparation, with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic setting, supporting various food service functions including banquets, catering, and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Help with basic food prep activities to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
• Assist with catering setup and breakdown as needed for events or banquets
• Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment through regular cleaning duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience with food preparation techniques such as chopping, portioning, or basic cooking is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and servers
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
• Prior experience in banquet or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory
