Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Child Safety and Well-Being
: Maintain active supervision and ensure a safe and clean play environment. - Standards Compliance
: Demonstrate knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Child Care Licensing Rules and CELC policies and procedures. - Curriculum and Environment
: Plan and maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized learning environment. - Emergency Response
: Provide First Aid or CPR in emergencies and prevent the spread of illness. - Child Observation and Reporting
: Observe children for signs of illness, injury, or emotional disturbances and report to the Center Director.
Skills & Competencies:
- Education
: Minimum of a BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. - Experience
: At least two years in a teaching role. - Certifications
: Career Pathway Level (CPL 3) or higher preferred. - Familiarity
: Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rules is preferred.
