Senior iOS Developer

Off-grid communication network startup seeking Senior iOS Developer

Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology (software + solar-powered hardware) for Adventurers, Firefighters, DoD, Rescue Operations, and more. They're currently in need of a Senior ioS Engineer to join their team and help scale their product. This is a unique opportunity for an established Mobile Developer to build new cutting-edge software and be part of a company that already has a lot of momentum. iOS experts with Kotlin familiarity and SDK + device experience (custom hardware, satellite technology, Bluetooth, sensors, etc.) are highly preferred.

This is a hybrid remote opportunity (2-3 days on-site a week). Our client is currently only considering candidates based in San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

• 8 years iOS development + Android/Kotlin exp (or interest in learning)
• Experience bringing new features from concept to shipped product
• Background with SDK, IoT, hardware devices, Bluetooth
• Demonstrated experience building Mobile Apps with modern iOS + Android Technologies (Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, KMP, Coroutines)
• Successful history launching apps in a startup environment
• Strong communication skills
• Collaborative mindset
