Job Summary:
Cousins Properties is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team. The analyst will perform analytical and financial support activities related to corporate forecasting, reporting, variance and sensitivity analysis, company valuation, capital allocation and capital markets activities. Heavy excel work and financial modeling is required. The analyst should be prepared to develop, maintain and enhance a variety of financial models and present financial analysis in an accurate and informative manner.
This position is located in Atlanta, GA (in the Buckhead area). This position is on-site. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain sophisticated Excel-based financial models.
Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast and expectations, investigating significant variances and communicating findings.
Perform complex financial analyses and modeling with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, IRR and NPV calculations and sensitivity analyses.
Develop and maintain models and analyses to aid in the validation of existing forecasts; support strategic initiatives and help review critical financial decisions; support internal and external financial and management reporting.
Create and prepare financial reports to better understand company performance.
Assist with the creation of deliverables to investors/analysts, the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.
Assist with capital markets transactions.

QualificationsRequired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Real Estate with excellent academic credentials is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented with clear/consistent focus on the accuracy and completeness of work product.
