Combo Pipe Welder

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking skilled Combo Pipe Welders and Pipe Fitters. The ideal candidates will have experience in pipe welding and/or pipe fitting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pipe welding in various positions including 6G TIG all the way out, 6G Stick with a mig stringer, and mig/fluxcore on a pinwheel.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install pipes according to project specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure welded joints and fittings meet company standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Combo Pipe Welder or Pipe Fitter in an ASME shop.
• Proficiency in welding techniques including TIG, Stick (7018), mig stringer, and mig/fluxcore on a pinwheel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, fittings, and equipment.
• Certification in pipe welding (e.g., AWS D1.1 or ASME Section IX).
• Experience with stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys.
• Familiarity with pipe fabrication tools and equipment.
