Position Overview
Apex Asset Management is seeking a Property Manager to oversee and support our growing portfolio in Abilene, Texas. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, contractors, and team members in the Abilene region. The position requires strong organizational skills, communication ability, and a hands-on approach to property management operations.

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for all Abilene properties.
• Assist in coordinating work orders and ensuring timely completion.
• Communicate regularly with tenants to address concerns, requests, and lease matters.
• Oversee and check in on contractors during property projects and repairs.
• Maintain in-office hours at our Abilene locations as scheduled.
• Report directly to both the Director of Property Management and the Chief Administrative Officer.
• Handle leasing and renewal flows for prospective tenants.

Requirements

• Property management experience preferred.
• Ability to work the above schedule, including some weekends.
• Physical ability to consistently move and carry 50 pounds.

• Familiarity with property management software preferred.

• Note: Training will be provided on AppFolio Property Management Software (our software of choice).

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to balance both office-based and field responsibilities. They will be approachable and professional when interacting with tenants, while alsomaintaining accountability with contractors and internal leadership.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
