Job Description:

Summary:  Transport goods over land to residents and business in the north-eastern Oklahoma region in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.     

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend staff and safety meetings
• Arrive at facility on time
• Follow all policies and procedures
• Communicate all safety, training, mechanical, and personnel  issues/questions to applicable manger
• Ensure packages are delivered to correct addresses in a timely manner
• Ensure packages are picked up within their respective time windows
• Ensure packages are coded properly
• Handle all packages with care 
• Maintain current driver's license and DOT physical
• Drive safely and responsibly in all weather conditions
• Wear appropriate uniform 
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections 
• Comply with government rules and regulations related to transportation, labor issues, safety requirements, and environment issues.  

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Minimum of 6 months FedEx driving experience; High School Diploma

Preferred Skills: Possess excellent time management skills; good sense of direction; flexible with different ending times; good communication skills

Physical Requirements:  Able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds; stoop, reach, stand, walk, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and see.  

Environmental Hazards: Exposure to loud noises and fumes/vapors/odors
