Event Manager

We re looking for an Events Manager to lead and grow our private dining and event programming. This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, thrives on organization, and enjoys turning ideas into memorable experiences.

The Events Manager is responsible for planning, selling, and executing all private events, buyouts, and special experiences at Long Weekend. You ll be the primary point of contact from initial inquiry through final follow-up, ensuring every event reflects our brand, hospitality standards, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all private event inquiries, bookings, and contracts

• Develop and manage event timelines, layouts, menus, staffing plans, and logistics

• Collaborate closely with culinary, bar, and operations teams to execute seamless events

• Coordinate on-site event execution, including client communication and staff leadership

• Manage event budgets, pricing, deposits, invoicing, and post-event reconciliation

• Maintain event calendars and ensure clear communication across departments

• Build relationships with local businesses, planners, and community partners

• Assist with the development of event packages, seasonal offerings, and promotions

• Uphold Long Weekend s service standards and brand voice at all times

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hospitality events, catering, private dining, or event management

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously

• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Experience with event sales, contracts, and client relationship management preferred

• Calm, professional demeanor with a problem-solving mindset

• Passion for hospitality, food, and creating memorable guest experiences

Pay: $55, $75,000.00 per year
