Position Overview
Pressure Applied Investment Group is seeking a highly driven and strategically minded Director of Broker Developmentto lead, support, and expand our nationwide brokerage team. This leadership role is responsible for recruiting experienced brokers, developing their skills, managing performance, and ensuring consistent production across the brokerage division.
The Director of Broker Development will earn a commission percentage on every broker's closed deal, in addition to their own personal deal commissions, creating a performance-driven structure with unlimited earning potential.
Key ResponsibilitiesBroker Recruitment & Expansion
- Recruit qualified commercial and investment brokers to join the firm.
- Conduct interviews, evaluations, and selection processes for new broker candidates.
- Build talent pipelines and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals.
Broker Training & Development
- Lead onboarding, training, and mentorship programs for all new brokers.
- Deliver ongoing coaching in sales strategy, sourcing deals, underwriting basics, and client management.
- Establish performance standards and ensure brokers understand company systems, expectations, and best practices.
Team Performance & Oversight
- Monitor broker activity, productivity, and monthly pipeline performance.
- Provide strategic guidance to help brokers overcome challenges and increase deal volume.
- Hold brokers accountable to goals and implement corrective action when needed.
- Maintain weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to support team momentum.
Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with the lending operations and processing teams to ensure brokers submit accurate and complete deal files.
- Assist brokers in structuring deals, preparing documentation, and communicating with lenders when necessary.
Leadership & Culture
- Promote a culture of excellence, integrity, and high-level professionalism.
- Lead by example through industry knowledge, communication, and accountability.
Compensation Structure
- Commission override on each broker's closed deal (percentage set by company policy).
- 100% commission on the Director's personal closed deals.
- No cap on earning potential.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, commercial lending, or brokerage management.
- Proven track record in recruiting, training, or managing brokers or sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of commercial financing, investment real estate, or lending structures.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while driving team performance.
- Highly self-motivated with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
