Island Legacy Caribbean seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in restaurant management, and will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of service. This role is essential for fostering a positive work environment and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to optimize team efficiency.
• Implement catering services and manage events to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain quality control throughout food preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative culinary offerings that align with our fine dining vision.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Develop strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of catering services and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between service periods.
• Experience as an assistant manager or in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
• Solid understanding of culinary practices, particularly in fine dining or quick service fast food environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
