Your tasks will include reading order sheets, locating products, verifying quantities, and carefully packaging them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position is critical to our order fulfillment process and our overall logistics success. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to follow strict safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret picking instructions to locate specific items in the warehouse.
- Select the correct items and quantities as per customer orders.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Report any discrepancies or stock issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the entire shift. Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus. Must be committed to safety and wear all required PPE. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets. Good organizational skills. Reliability and punctuality are key.
