We're hiring enthusiastic Picker/Packers for our busy Miami, Florida location! As a Picker/Packer, you'll be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include locating items on warehouse shelves, carefully picking them, and then packing them securely for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to guarantee order accuracy and prevent shipping errors. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment for all our employees; therefore, the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This job involves regular physical activity, including extended periods of standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Inspect products for defects or damages before packing.
- Package items securely and appropriately for safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to manage orders.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Strictly follow all company safety regulations and wear mandated PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Meet or exceed established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
- Engage in frequent lifting of items throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a picking/packing or similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and comprehend order forms and item labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety policies, including the required use of PPE.
- Must possess the physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- A cooperative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
