We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked from inventory and expertly packed for shipment. You will be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction through timely and correct order delivery. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order details and quantities to ensure accuracy before shipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace according to established guidelines.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company policies, particularly those related to warehouse Safety and product handling.
- Properly wear and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution operations.
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding orders, inventory, or Safety to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics flow.
- Commitment to following all Safety regulations and using PPE.
- Good organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
