We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit, Michigan. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that products are picked from inventory, packed securely, and prepared for shipment in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, collaborating with a team to meet daily targets and maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail will be paramount in ensuring order accuracy and minimizing errors. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage before packing and report any discrepancies.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and ensure accuracy.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet or exceed established picking and packing performance metrics.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Understand and follow all warehouse and logistics procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and following all guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
