We are hiring another Warehouse Associate for our busy facility in Portland, Oregon! This role is key to ensuring our logistics operations run seamlessly. You will be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. A focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards is crucial for success in this position. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming inventory accurately.
- Sort and store goods in their designated warehouse locations, maintaining orderliness.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and efficiency using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and contribute to stock accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals and deadlines for our logistics partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Capability to handle physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and with a team.
- Dependability and punctuality are expected.
