Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick items from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and damage prior to packing.
- Pack orders securely, using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Affix correct shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to optimize workflow.
- Utilize handheld scanners for inventory tracking and order verification.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in routine inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Achieve established performance metrics for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
- Physical capability to stand for extended hours, walk, bend, and perform lifting duties up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to interpret order forms and product codes.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Dependable and punctual attendance.
Working Conditions:
