Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, delivering therapeutic massage services, and contributing to overall wellness in a serene environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific pain management issues.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide effective treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any patient inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support holistic patient care and occupational health initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques is preferred.
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
• Previous experience in a med/spa setting is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
