Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all machinery adheres to strict safety standards. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential. Your contribution will be vital to our logistics operations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. We are committed to a safe workplace, requiring the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor systems, forklifts, automated machinery).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Operate equipment safely when necessary for testing or repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to address equipment-related challenges.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
  • May involve moderate lifting and physical demands.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including some lifting and working in various warehouse conditions.
  • Understanding of logistics workflows and equipment needs.
