Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Pack items carefully and securely for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipping.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Move products from storage areas to the shipping area.
- Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Understand and follow all logistics processes to ensure efficiency.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and WMS is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required PPE.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and operations.
