We are hiring a dynamic Distribution Center Associate for our San Jose, California facility! This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and logistics operations. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will handle a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your efficiency and accuracy are vital to meeting customer demands and maintaining inventory integrity. This fast-paced environment requires individuals who are motivated, organized, and committed to upholding high standards of productivity and safety. You will be trained on our state-of-the-art warehouse management systems and equipment. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing for long periods, frequent movement, and substantial lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified), pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and updating inventory.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all goods to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform duties requiring consistent lifting, moving, and carrying of products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
