We are actively seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position involves navigating the warehouse to locate, pick, and prepare items for shipment. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are valued. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Verify product identification and quantities before packing.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure proper wear and use of required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervision.
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Capacity to work effectively in a physically demanding and fast-paced setting.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be willing to wear and use required PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes is a plus.
