Join our established warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for the day-to-day operations of our facility, supporting a variety of warehouse functions. You will be responsible for tasks that ensure our inventory is managed effectively and orders are processed with precision. If you are a team player with a strong commitment to Safety and a desire to contribute to efficient logistics, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against documentation.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies, safely.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, focusing on Safety protocols.
- Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper handling.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution process.
- Report any workplace hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Must be able to handle Lifting requirements of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Dedication to upholding Safety standards and adhering to all Security procedures.
- Willingness to wear and maintain assigned PPE.
- Effective communication skills.
