In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting inventory, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A strong emphasis on **safety** is paramount; you must possess a valid forklift certification and adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and procedures. Proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. This role involves regular **lifting** and maneuvering of goods, often in conjunction with forklift operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from racking systems.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols, including proper **PPE** usage.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support the overall **logistics** and supply chain operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Ability to perform **lifting** and manual tasks as needed.
- Strong understanding of **safety** procedures and regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
