We are hiring an Order Picker for our San Diego, California facility. This role is vital for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked and prepared for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will use various equipment and systems to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves. Precision and speed are essential to meet our high standards of service. The position demands physical activity, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 40 pounds. A strong commitment to safety is mandatory; you will be required to wear appropriate PPE and adhere to all warehouse safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order tickets.
- Use RF scanners and other picking technology to manage tasks.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior order picking or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear PPE.
