Join our thriving logistics network as a Warehouse Associate in Las Vegas, Nevada! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our distribution center's daily operations. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient handling of inventory. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Must be capable of consistent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Contribute to team efforts by assisting in other areas of the warehouse as needed.
- Understand the logistics flow of the warehouse to optimize processes.
- Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to efficiency.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.
High school diploma or GED required. Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable. Experience with forklifts or other powered equipment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform tasks involving significant lifting and standing. Knowledge of safety procedures and the importance of PPE. Strong team player with good communication skills. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial. This role demands attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
