Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team at our facility in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. You will ensure that inventory is managed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. This role demands reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting of items up to 45 lbs, and maintain a safe working area. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse stock and storage areas.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 45 lbs consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellent attendance.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
